Dhokla

Ingredients:


  • Approx 270 ML water.
  • 2 tbsp oil.
  • ½ tsp of Swaaditi whole rai
  • Appropriate amount of sesame.

Instructions:


  1. Empty contents of pack in a bowl and add 270 ml water into the mix. Blend gently until the batter is smooth.
  2. Pour batter into steaming tray (pre-greased with oil). Steam on high flame for 20 minutes. Remove steaming tray and cool for 3–5 minutes. Pour 30 ml (2 tbsp.) of cool water evenly onto the dhoklas in steaming tray. Cut dhoklas into cubes.
  3. Heat 30 ml (2 tbsp.) oil; add ½ teaspoon each of mustard seeds & sesame, and few fresh green chillies. Add 45 ml (3 tbsp.) water to the tadka and boil it for 1 minute. Spread it evenly on the dhokla.
